Coach Martin recently offered instate 2019 Juwan Gary (Gray Academy). He is ranked in the top 50 players in the country. Imagine Coach Martin signing Juwan Gary, Josiah James, and getting transfer Felton who is leaving UNC, who are all instate players. The guard positions would be set for years to come if all three players became Gamecocks.

He moved up his original announcement date for a reason. It will be interesting to see which school he picks, I am biased so I hope he is a Gamecock!

And it's Alabama....

Coach Martin did a great job recruiting him. With versatile AJ Lawson (6-7) moving up from the 2019 class to the 2018 class and signing with Coach Martin recently things changed. The fan base is excited to see Lawson and his teammates play this season.

FM began to back off Gary roughly a month ago, as I read in a article on another site.  He knew where Gary's heart was, and that there was no need to waste too much effort in trying to sway him.  Clemson and others recruited him hard as well but in the end Avery Johnson sealed the deal.  Gary plans to be a One and Done!
