#99 (12 point improvement)

if the SEC gets 8 teams into the NCAA tournament the Gamecocks would most likely need to pass Missouri, A&M, Arky, and Bama to get on the bubble. First number is NET ranking. Second number is previous NET ranking. Next to last stat or each team is current SEC record.

Barring a miracle run in the SEC Tourny, I think our best hope is an NIT bid which would be great for giving our younger players extra practice time and game experience.

Just win.  13-5 should get us in.  Or 12-6 with a couple of wins in the tournament.  Either are attainable, but there's little room for error.  Win the home games - A&M, Ole Miss, Alabama and Georgia, and pick up a couple on the road (Tennessee, Miss. St., Missouri and A&M).

I think Bryant is the key to the rest of the season. If he can continue to elevate his game and gain more confidence in his outside shots and be at least 50% with his FT I think we will be in every game. When this team keeps it close, they seem to find a way to win.

Agree there's little margin for error, but it is definitely doable.  After UT, the schedule is definitely in our favor and we will have the opportunity to beat some of the teams ahead of us in the NET ratings.

Yeah, unlike last year's team which could not win close games.
