5-star PG Azzi Fudd (5-11)(Washington, DC) is the first sophomore to ever win the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year. She is a special player and the #1 ranked player in the 2021 recruiting class. We need to keep an eye on her. Azzi Fudd could end up being one of those historic Mount Rushmore top 5 all-time greatest type of players.

Azzi Fudd recently tore both her ACL and MCL while playing basketball in Colorado for the USA 3X3 Team. She will most likely miss her whole junior high school season. Fudd was recently named the ALL-USA Player of the Year to go along with the Gatorade National Player of the Year. I think Tiffany Mitchell had an injury in high school and she still was a GREAT college player (2-Time SEC Player of the Year).
