Clemson is ranked No. 5 in the first College Football Playoff poll of the 2019 season.
The Tigers are behind No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Alabama and No. 4 Penn State.
The College Football Playoff Committee will release a weekly poll through the conference championship games. The semifinal field will be set Dec. 8.

We’ll be hearing Dabo whine until the next poll.  We can ruin their season.  Just saying....

Dabo knows the weak ACC is bringing his team down.

Doesn't matter...  If they win out, they will be in.  Alabama or LSU will have a loss, as will OSU or Penn State.

A 1 loss Bama/LSU or OSU/Penn State would still go instead with a Playoff system that worked Effectively.  Any team with a strength of schedule above 50th place should be handicapped even more, I don't care who the team is.  Good teams shouldn't be penalized for playing difficult schedules.  This year it just happens to be the taters.

clemson plays a cupcake schedule. They don't deserve to be in the top 18.

The preseason poll put them at #1 and all they have done from there is fall down in the polls. Where would they be if the first polls did not come out until after.....say the fourth game??

The main point is this -- win out and Clemson is likely in the Playoff. Alabama and LSU play this weekend, Penn State and Ohio State still have to play. Therefore, there are opportunities for Clemson to move up if it keeps winning. And it would be a major upset if the Tigers lose during the regular season. Right now, Clemson is favored heavily by ESPN's FPI in its three remaining regular-season games. The lowest chance of victory comes at South Carolina on Nov. 30, when FPI gives the Tigers a measly 89.1% chance to win.

The team needs to know that they only have a 10% chance to beat the taters.

I hope Feister rushes for 200 yds in our our victory.
